The “Arashio” is equipped with a Yanmar high-output 230 PS engine. It has logged approximately 3,500 hours of operation since its overhaul. In addition to the replacement of consumables—such as oil, filters, and impellers—every six months, hydrogen cleaning is also performed annually, and the engine is reportedly maintained in excellent condition. The hull, cabin, engine room, and other areas are also in very good condition.
Exterior and Deck
There is no significant damage to the hull. The deck is solid and does not feel spongy; it is flat and very easy to work on. The side walkways are equipped with wave guards and handrails for added safety. A retrofitted private electric toilet is installed on the aft deck.
Cabin and Cockpit
The cabin has a door. It features three LED fish-attracting lights and one halogen light. The cockpit offers excellent visibility and is easy to navigate from. The HONDEX GPS fishfinder will be removed and replaced with a Furuno GP-3500F.
